John manages engineering and operations on all design-build projects, as well as the engineering, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and automation controls for single-source projects. He also provides renovation solutions for air handling systems. His knowledge of fan and duct systems has helped many customers greatly reduce utility costs.

Expertise

John earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University and has completed additional training with the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Carrier, Trane, Honeywell, the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB), the State of Ohio Fire Protection, and Cincinnati Technical College.

He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio and Kentucky and holds the NEBB Air and Hydraulic Supervisor certification.

John is very active in ASHRAE as a voting member of TC 9.1 “Large Building Air-Conditioning Systems.” He is also an active member of TC 9.1’s sub-committee “Central Energy Plants.” He has worked on several publications, including the guideline committee’s GPC-16P “Specifying Outdoor, Return and Relief Dampers for VAV Systems.”

He is also a member of NEBB, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Association of Energy Engineers, and the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association.

Other professional affiliations include Allied Construction Industries, Mechanical Contractors of America, Greater Cincinnati Plumbing Contractors Association, Cincinnati Master Plumbers Association, and Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors of Ohio.
